Our portable ultra-performance liquid chromatography (p-UPLC) can perform both isocratic and gradient elusions. To our knowledge, this is the only commercial portable UPLC. It can be operated under a broad range of flow speed from nanoliter to microliter. It can also provide very stable mobile phase flow. We succeeded in using this instrument in detecting illegal drugs, photoresist chemicals and trace impurities in high-purity solvents. This instrument can be easily connected to a mass spectrometer to become a LCMS.
