iAnalyzer Inc. recently developed patented Handheld Ion Mobility Spectrometer (hIMS) for doing in-situ real-time detection of samples. The basic principle is based on the balance of the force from air flow and opposite electric field so that ion path can be very short to make the size of this instrument very small. Analysis speed is quite fast (1 minute/sample). This instrument can be applied to drug development, environmental monitoring, chemical weapon detection, forensic sample detection and etc. Currently, we focus more on in-situ real-time detection of illegal drugs. We put special emphasis on the detection of illegal-drug-added foods such as illegal-drug-added instant coffee, juice, chocolate bar and tea.
